Enrolment
4-5 Year Old Program (4 turning 5 years of age)
  • Children are entitled to attend one year of funded kindergarten  prior to school entry. (Children must be at least 4 years of age by 30th April)-
PLEASE NOTE- We encourage families of  children whose birthday is between January- April of the kindergarten year to defer enrolling their child until the following year.
This will provide your child time to become more mature, to be one of the eldest rather than the youngest throughout their formal learning years, to achieve more successfully.
Council operates a central enrolment service for four year old programs in Banyule.
2011 Enrolments are currently being accepted.  An Enrolment form can be obtained from any Pre School or Maternal and Child Health Centre in Banyule, or via the council website (www.banyule.vic.gov.au).  Forms should be returned to Council as soon as possible as preschool places are allocated in date of enrolment order.
2012 Enrolments for 4 year old programs will be accepted from March 2010.

3-4 Year Old Program (3 turning 4 years of age)
  • 3-4YO children need to turn 3 before January 31st, to commence our 3-4 year-old kinder program.(Please see our Preschool Readiness page)

Enrolment is made directly with the kindergarten. Forms can be obtained through  our preschool. 2011 and 2012 Enrolments now being accepted.
